Lead the company's financial strategy, fundraising, governance, and capital allocation while ensuring sustainable growth and operational excellence. Partner closely with leadership to drive business performance, strategic initiatives, and long-term value creation, while building a world-class finance organization
Day-to-day Responsibilities:
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management to support strategic business objectives.
- Drive fundraising, investor relations, and capital strategy across equity, debt, grants, and strategic partnerships.
- Oversee cash flow, working capital, treasury operations, and capital allocation decisions to maximize financial efficiency.
- Ensure compliance, taxation, audits, corporate governance, and robust risk management frameworks.
- Build and scale financial systems, controls, and processes to support rapid organizational growth.
- Partner with the CEO and leadership team on business expansion, strategic initiatives, M&A, and key commercial decisions.
- Build and lead a high-performing finance organization while delivering actionable insights to investors, board members, and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead financial strategy and long-term business planning.
- Drive fundraising across equity, debt, grants, and strategic partnerships.
- Manage investor relations and stakeholder communications.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, MIS, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, taxation, and regulatory requirements.
- Strengthen internal controls, governance, and risk management frameworks.
- Optimize working capital, cash flow, and treasury operations.
- Support M&A, strategic partnerships, and corporate development initiatives.
- Build and lead a high-performing finance organization.
Must Have
- CA / MBA Finance / CFA or equivalent qualification.
- Strong understanding of corporate finance and financial strategy.
- Experience in fundraising, investor relations, or strategic finance.
- Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of compliance, taxation, audit, and governance frameworks.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience in Defence, Aerospace, Manufacturing, or Technology sectors.
- Exposure to venture capital, private equity, or investment banking.
- Experience managing M&A, due diligence, or strategic transactions.
- Understanding of government contracts and defence procurement.
- Experience in high-growth startup environments.
