We are hiring a Chief of Staff to CEO at IG Defence.
Not a “note-taking” role.
Not a “calendar management” role.
This is a war room role.
You will work directly with CEO —
in the middle of defence projects, government discussions, national security conversations, and high-stakes execution.
If you’re looking for comfort → skip this.
If you want to operate at the edge → read on.
What you’ll actually do:
- Turn ideas into execution in hours, not weeks
- Drive critical projects across defence, autonomous systems, and strategic ops
- Sit in high-stakes meetings and ensure outcomes, not discussions
- Fix what’s broken. Push what’s slow. Build what doesn’t exist
- Act as a force multiplier for the CEO
What We are looking for:
- Extreme ownership mindset
- Calm in chaos, fast in execution
- Can handle pressure, ambiguity, and responsibility
- Not afraid to challenge, not afraid to act
- Wants to build something that actually matters for the nation
What this is NOT:
- Not a 9–5 job
- Not a comfort role
- Not for people who need hand-holding
What you get:
- Front-row seat to building a defence-tech capability from India
- Direct exposure to leadership, government, and strategic decisions
- Learning curve that most roles won’t give in 5–7 years
Responsibilities
- Drive mission-critical execution
- Convert decisions into action
- Lead critical defence projects
- Remove bottlenecks fast
- Own outcomes, not tasks
Must Have
- Extreme ownership
- Calm under pressure
- Fast execution mindset
- Strong decision making
- High accountability
Nice to have
- UAV & defence exposure
- AI / autonomous systems
- Govt / defence experience
- Startup experience
What's great in the job?
- Work with sharp, driven people in a no-nonsense culture
- No bureaucracy, no micromanagement — just execution
- Real ownership, real impact, real responsibility
- Operate at the intersection of defence, tech, and strategy
- Learn faster than most roles in years
- Be part of building something that actually matters
