Key Responsibilities

Revenue & Business Growth

  • Achieve annual revenue and order booking targets.

  • Develop and execute the national sales strategy.

  • Build a healthy sales pipeline with predictable quarterly revenue.

  • Drive strategic sales of drones, loitering munitions, ISR platforms, anti-drone systems, training simulators, and emerging defence technologies.

  • Expand IG Defence's presence in domestic and export markets.

Government & Defence Sales

  • Build relationships with:

    • Ministry of Defence

    • Indian Army

    • Indian Navy

    • Indian Air Force

    • Defence PSUs

    • DRDO Labs

    • State Governments

    • CAPFs

    • Police Forces

    • Disaster Management Agencies

  • Identify new procurement opportunities through tenders, RFPs, GSQRs, and strategic programmes.

Strategic Partnerships

  • Develop partnerships with:

    • Defence System Integrators

    • OEMs

    • Global Defence Companies

    • Channel Partners

    • Defence Export Partners

  • Lead strategic alliance discussions and MoUs.

Sales Leadership

  • Lead and mentor Regional Sales Heads and Business Development Managers.

  • Establish KPIs, review sales performance, and implement corrective actions.

  • Build a high-performance sales culture.

Key Account Management

  • Manage strategic and enterprise defence customers.

  • Maintain CXO-level relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Ensure customer satisfaction and long-term account growth.

Market Intelligence

  • Track defence procurement trends.

  • Monitor competitor activities.

  • Identify emerging technology requirements.

  • Recommend new product opportunities to the Development team.

Sales Operations

  • Drive CRM discipline.

  • Maintain accurate sales forecasting.

  • Prepare monthly sales reports.

  • Manage sales budgets and profitability.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Defence Studies, Business, or related field.

  • MBA (Marketing/Strategy) preferred.

Experience

  • 12–18 years in B2G/B2B sales.

  • Minimum 7 years in defence, aerospace, homeland security, drones, electronics, or strategic technology sectors.

  • Proven experience in government procurement and defence sales.
